The famed Burbon St.

A very beautiful city with a great backdrop.

Fat city is supposed to be where the locals go...Burbon St is more for tourists (and you can tell by the prices). It's OK to walk down the street with a beer in your hand...in fact you are encouraged by pretty much every vendor to do so.

I was really moved by the street performers...a group of singers there had the best harmony I think I've ever heard in my life. Kids tapdance for change...somebody'll shine your shoes (like you want them to)...but I know I'll be back soon.
